very serious Rewire2 problems with Reason

when I am trying to record Reason into Live with live input Ableton and Reason will lock, Live drops out, the tempo goes down, audio cracking etc.

What I do is:
- add a simple drumloop to track 1 and play it
- select Reason's rewire 01/02 as input on track 2, click the Monitoring button and Arm for Recording
- when I then click on a Clip in track 2 it starts recording but then the problems occurs... Live will stutter and stop responding, Reason will stop responding... I leave the system for a minute and everything is fine.

This seems a very serious bug, at least for me, since I am working on some music for which I want to use Reason in a live situation as sound source. With Live 2.1.1 I am not able to do that.

Live 2.1.1 seems to be a problem for me at the moment. the File Browser bug is a problem as well as the problem with loosing the key-mappings in a song suddenly.

Without being unkind I hope you change your development plans. Software should be 100% rock solid, which can only be done by good testing. I have very good exeriences with Propellerhead and I know that they will never release software which contains a bug. Any bug they find they will solve. This way Propellerhead can focus on new things instead of fixing the things already should have been fixed.

I am sorry for sounding a bit negative, of course you're doing your best to make the product as good as possible and I thank you for that. The best of luck with finding the solution for these Rewire2 problems.

do you have this problem regardless of what's showing in the clip/track view? i've been having problems with clip recording when the clip view window is open, but it seems to work (at least much better) with the track view window showing instead.

but 2.0.3 is even better

I need it to record small clips of Reason while playing. indeed 2.03 is better at the moment.

I hope Ableton comes back with the real goodies soon

9.1 doesn't seem to have this problem recording Reason into clips.

I thought this bug was Rewire2 related which it isn't. The problem is related to recording clips. Even when recording Live's MAster Out the clip recording causes Live to freeze.

Hope this can be solved. Went back to 2.0.3

I'm having that problem too , when I start recording reason into live , it crasehes ,......now I just decided not to use 2.1.1 , i'll use 2.0.3 which its really good .
