I just tried a new OS X application called ReVision that allows the user to sync a floating QuickTime movie with SMPTE display and controls over either Reason or Live via ReWire. Excellent for doing soundtrack work with just Reason or Live. I don't think I'll be using DP4 much for video projects after this. This thing is great!

ReVision anyone?
I bought it right away. Sometimes I just need to sketch out some ideas quickly and it's great for that. That bad part is since it is a rewire master you can't use VST plugs but a small price for the convinence. When he implements play by space bar and scrolling by grabbing the picture it will be even cooler.

Re: pot to PC, please!
Hey guy, I can understand your plight wanting to get in on of some of this exclusive X software. If you visit OSXaudio.com you'll see that there's been an affordable programming revolution for OS X audio apps. I'd like to think there are PC developers creating new, on the cheap stuff too but I'm out of the loop on that. Your best bet would be to email the programmers at places like Granted Software and another great one is Rogue Amoeba. They're small innovated software development companies that respond to emails rather quickly. They'll let you know if they have plans to develop PC versions (although they may not be staffed to develop for both platforms).DJADD wrote:Hey, how bout a cross platform for this thing, same as the props and ableton do?
