I've got a bunch of drum beats in midi standard drum format but they are misassigned to work with Impulse.
Is there a simple work around for this or do have to manually move the notes in all of these midi files?
Converting midi standard drum files for use with Impulse
yes, you need to move the rows of notes
look at your notes in clip view
click on the piano roll on the left hand side in your row to select the whole row, drag the whole row down to where it needs to be.
as i recall cell one (left to right) of impulse is C1 on the scale ...

Problem is it's like reading in the dark. None of the instruments, snare, bass drum etc are illustrated on the left column as is normally the case in most midi compliant apps.supster wrote:yes, you need to move the rows of notes

Sure you can hear them but what a chore. I suppose it's something that needs to go in the wishlist section unless someone out there knows of an easier way.
