Mac G4 Ti 800 MHz w/ 512 MB RAM, OS 10.2.6
I have yet to have a successful run of any Waves plugs for more than a couple of sessions in Live without a crash.
Waves plugs run without any trouble in Peak/Cubase so this must be a Live issue-
This problem initially began with 2.0 I believe, in that (Waveshell 4.0) whenever I was able to successfully instantiate a Waves plug and save it with the set/session, the next time I opened the set, it crashed Live.
Now with 2.1.1 Live and Waveshell 4.0.1_X, Live immediately crashes whenever I try to select a Waves plug.
This was after I was *finally* able to get Live to see all of my carbonized VST plugs after multiple trashing of preferences and relocating the VST folder, and making sure all copies of my VST's are at system level folder, I have only one user with admin privelges- that's me - and the only log on I use- (I also tried installing all of the plugs into user level VST folder and repaired all disk permissions just in case to no avail).
Is anyone having success running Waves plugs with Live 2.1.1 on OS X.2.6? Should I reinstall waves? (Live sees it and lets me select the plug- just crashes right after I select it ALWAYS).
any help would be appreciated- I have searched the forum but really am not getting anywhere.
