live 5 and powercore virus multi

hi,

i have a question for those with live 5 and powercore virus plugin...does the virus plugin works properly? i mean i have the 4 part virus and want to use the 4 parts on 4 separate channels...is this possible in live 5 cuz i've heard that in v4 doesn't work...

i only ran 1 instance and played a pad and had a 25% CPU hit ? when i ain't supposed to be using any CPU.

the thing obviously aint working properly.

My UAD-1 plugins were crackling too , never had any bother with my UAD-1 in the past.

My Virus works in live 5 better than in 4.
But an fast Arp. has big Problems, it runs out of time, notes hang up !!
I need one loop befor the Virus is in Time.

And when i open an instanz of the virus it crackels so loud when i play the first 4-5 Notes.

whats the point in using it in muti license mode when it won't even work properly in basic license mode ?

I can guarantee you that you'll never get powercore/virus to run smoothly in live 5 , then before you know it live 6 will be released and we'll be having this conversation again.

Ive just upgraded to live 5 and its full of bugs , ok its new and they'll keep giving you update's but you'll never get a solid working version.

live 4 still had plenty of issue's so why not fix them before making live 5.

Hell we'll be up to live 10 before we know it and Ablton still won't have one solid version under their belt.

Ableton should take a leaf out of propellerheads book , Propellerhead released reason 3 and it had bugs so Propellerhead couldn't appologise enough to its customers , they released version 3.0.3 and i bet its the last update you see because when it comes to programs Propellerhead are real professionals they want to sell you a product that works , im starting to think Ableton are just having my eyes out and sucking money out of me for a product full of bugs....

My UAD-1 was the last straw , UAD-1 plugins crackling ? its never crackled in any version of cubase ive owned.

and as for my powercore firewire , i ain't even going to waste my time trying to get that to work in live 5 , i'll stick to cubase sx3 for that.

Ableton live is my little novalty play around toy i use to show off to friends , but behind closed doors i produce on cubase because i need something reliable.

Ok, that ist realy bad, but i think twice.

Today i send a big email with ALS and mp3 demos of the bug to Ableton, i hope and think i can get an positiv result out of it.

Not tried it since buying 5.01 (been working on my live set on my laptop) but my UAD-1 worked perfectly in the beta stages.

Don't know whether that's useful to anyone but it shows that not everyone has this problem.

I must admit you can't blame ableton for the virus powercore not working properly in live because the virus powercore is well known to be full of bugs the last update done nothing to fix the bugs either.
TC and Access are just not interested in fixing these bugs , im afraid i think the virus powercore is now a dead forgotten project that TC and access just want to see the back off.

Whats your problem????

Just work on your settings in your hardware, it should do!

But the multi lisence, why should you...

Whats the problem ? go over to the TC FORUM and you'll find a whole bunch of pissed off customers.

Yes its ok if your just using the presets and pressing your midi controller.

However try using lot of automation on various controls and listen to your Arpreggiator lose its timing over a period of time.

its a big problem TC & Access won't FIX , Access are busy Fixing Bugs in the new Virus TI and TC are busy with new plugins...so the problem won't get fixed as one guy said "Its an abandoned ship"
