anyone syncing mpc 2000xl or 4k 1k as master???

wont do it with logic as master i heard it syncs with cubase fine but is anyone able to synch mpc as master with ableton 5???

i am doing exactly that. sometimes live acts glitchy. i dont actually sync em up too often, but i probably should. i've been using midi clock and MMC, maybe I'll try MTC

Yup, A MPC 1000 is my master sync. Works well for me... took a little bit of tuning

Yes, both 2000 and 1000 works great as master, even if sometime live is glitchy and needs a couple of bars to get in sync... when I get tired I do it "by ear".. 1, 2, 3, 4 and hit space bar.

When you using MPC as master do you transfer midi files between computer and MPC ? or just use it as a controller ?
