vst or effect to gradually increase volume of midi file?

I don't want to do it while recording, are there any cool vsts or plugins that do this? maybe a filter of some kind, a LIVE effect module? something? Please let me know, I want to creep up some vocals and textures.

you can use 'dummy clips' and have all kinds of different volume curves set up in the clip envelopes of those dummy clips.
