itunes has corrupted my mp3s

hey everyone

itunes has corrupted my mp3s when i installed it. They will play on other programs but not in ableton.

I suspect it has something to do with the way itunes has automatically organised my music folder.

i can fix files by opening them in sound forge and saving them but i have 3000 tunes, so is there any free batch processors or other ways i can solve this problem?

(i use windows xp)

Are you sure it's not something to do with the cache Live uses to decode mp3s or something similar?
