Embarrasing question about the Scale plug-in...

Post by eldar » Thu Dec 01, 2005 7:09 pm

first let me say i SUCK at music theory...

my question is: if i use the scale plug-in and choose preset "C minor" and then change the base to "A" do i then get "A minor" scale output? Or would i have to create my own A minor preset?

yep. if you move the base knob you'll notice the black and white keys move, but the tone spacings don't, meaning you retain a minor scale, just transposed to fit a new root note.
