i recently recorded a couple of live performances....this for me involves changing my custom impulse drumkits on the fly during my set as different songs require.
my problem is when i render my 'performance/recording' the drumkit changes dont occur...and after the first track/song everything goes pear shaped. is there any way to get around this issue ?
cheers

1: You can record real time to an audio track instead of using render. Make a new audio track and select "resample" as its input. (Resample means it will take it's input from the master fader output)
Or:
2: You can make a seperate Midi track for every impulse patch you need (if you use seven Impulse patches, that would be 7 tracks). Live devices don't use CPU cycles when they are not generating sound, so it shouldn't degrade computer performance. You do get a larger Set though.
Or
3: First render your Impulse tracks as Audio files and splice them together in 1 audio track.
Or
4: Use a plugin like Battery where you can trigger shitloads of samples in a single kit, so you won't need to change kits.
Hope that helps good luck!
