Running AMD 64 4400 X2.
Playing with 5.02, notice the cpu spikes people have made reference to.
Trashed the cfg file & came again, still noticed them.
I then set the affinity to cpu 0 & the spikes didn't happen again.
By the way whilst monitoring the cpu spikes in Live (went up to 45% doing nothing but opening & closing effect windows) I also monitored useage in the task manager & saw no corresponding spikes.
Could part of the problem be faulty cpu useage reported in live with hyperthreading, dual cores etc. having some kind of impact..
