Cue function not working anymore

Ok guys,
I have tried everything that I can think of but still my cue function does not work anymore. Here is the issue: when I press "cue" on a channel so that i can pre-listen to a track before sending it ot the main mix the sound goes to both my headphones and the main speakers. I have main set to 1/2, cue set to 3/4 my audio interface is set to main 1/2 and headphones listen to 3/4. I own a firewire 410 and recently purchased a presonus firebox because I thought my 410 was the problem, but the same thing is still happening. I uninstalled Ableton and reinstalled it, updated, etc... but the issue persists. I am going crazy with this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This only started happening out of the blue. Cue worked perfet one day and then just totally quit working.

Anyway, It could very well be a problem in your M-Audio control panel.
Under the mixer tab check where sw 3/4 rtn is being routed.

sw3/4 is routed out to 3/4. sw 1/2 is routed out 1/2. Live: Cue out 3/4, Master 1/2.
For some reason the cue function doesn't work properly anymore. If i want to cue anything i need to kill the track button so the sound doesn't go out to the main mix.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this??? The abes have no idea.
