Nar just those dude, I expect the green button on top of the channels is a channel on/off and the two below the return/send for each channel are loop start/end and out.
Look forward to seeing your box dude!

I was thinking they would be mute and stop. Seeing as the controls are midi assignable, I wonder how you would use the two buttons as you say.

Well you can set them for two separate Cv messages on the first and second down hence my assumption

Are you sure? I will be using Midibox technology. Are you positive this can be done?

Next bit of news! Meeting up with my mate. He has got all the components drawn up in CAD. Having a few beers tomorrow night and dicussing the final functionality details, cosmetics etc before starting the big build. Those recent close ups helped a lot. Cheers for that!!!!

I can't wait!

cough up a list of parts, why doncha?
I like seeing just one button for A/B selection. Keeps it simple. Also, sliders for fx sends are very cool - I've seen an expanded version of that on this monster controller (in progress). Looks like it has some of the ideas from the Maven going on;

Parts are easy. Go to midibox.org for instructions. The central components are from
http://www.mikes-elektronikseite.de/sho ... /index.htm
I am buying the midibox 64 along with many 10k pots and 10k faders, PIC and LCD display (for programming). The buttons I have sourced from a company in Derby I think and look just like the ones on Maven (hmmm green, puple blue red and white). As for the casing of the mixer, its all gonna be custom made via CAD. Thats pretty much it I think. Oh apart from the odd knob here and there. Most electronics companies like CPC or Maplin supply these. However, we are hunting down some nice stainless ones. We may end up making them ourselves on a laithe (is that how you spell it?).

hmmm. Anything more specific than that? The internal stuff is always kinda standard, but the knobs and trimmings are the hard ones to get right...
