Collabs 3000's sickest ableton setup EVER!!!

may i add...that the 2 laptops on the outside,the one very left and the one very right, have already been changed....these are for live and now PC based...cause the macs didn´t do it....they´re specs 3.8ghz,2gb,sata2...in benchmarks they did...those laptops smashed the biggest available macs...they are about 3-5 times faster/stronger...i couldn´t believe, when our technican told me about his conversation with chris....

BUT...they putted a apple-sticker on the back...

and yes...the a&h belong to them...

their whole thing with that show is improvisation so you can understand why it's set up that way. and why the typical show is 5+ hours.

not to be a gear lust nay-sayer (it does look cool), but if for whatever reason you decide you a) need or want that much stuff tied together and b) just gotta have real mixer control of the audio output.. then getting to the point of having all that crap isn't so strange.

i'm sure it was jochem who figured out most of the setup and i'll forever give him the benefit of the doubt. genius that he is.

I can definitely see this being a very cool setup - it's basically a tag-team setup, right? Just try to see it as two one-man bands going head to head, each controlling their own mixer, and having mutual control over the main mix

BTW, the "genius...wearing the computer monitor on their head" played with Boom Bip, Daedelus and Becks band this past weekend in LA.
