SOUNDCARD w/ dellLAPtop

is the soundcard that comes w/ the dellINSPIRION 6000 laptop enough to run my favorite highENd music apps. -- ie - ABLETON5 , reason3, WAVELAB

To find out the answer to your question you'd probably want to run asio4all... otherwise I'd suggest checking out the echo indigo I/O or echo indigo DJ, creative labs also has a rather compelling pcmcia laptop card... those are good places to start... from there you can find plenty of offboard gear like the motu 828 mkii/traveller, rme hammerfall, m-audio has plenty of firewire stuff...

I guess it depends on how much stuff you'd like to lug around
