okay, let's say arnold is rascist given those that accuse him of such the benefit of the doubt that they are telling the truth.

Now, where in all that proof does it say he's a hitler loving man? Because he made a statement (where he grouped him together with Jesus Christ) as an example of people who became famous?

That may make ARnold retarded (when he was young), but it certainly doesn't make him a fascist, nazi who love Hilter.

You get nowhere when you espouse this stuff as your primary belief. I haven't seen him try to take over the national gaurd and militarize our state yet. Nor have a I seen the furnaces fired up to burn all non-arayan races. In fact, the last time I checked, he was using our democratic system to enact laws according the rules of our state and nation.

And no, Arnold has been able to acheive nothing, but thats not because people caught on to his dictatorial nature, its because... Oh wait, yeah it is.

The people of cali realized pretty quick that they had made a HUGE mistake, and hence his lack of accomplishment.

Maybe you ARE aware that he pardoned Enrons 9 billion dollar bilking of the state, among his other noticably interest conflicting actions.

So, while I cant find that quote of Arnold saying "I love Hitler", Id say his actions are decidedly fascist. Maybe you need to look up the definition of Fascist...

This is my point: How does a fascist get elected in a democracy, practice according to law, promote democratic processes, and then get accused of being a fascist?

Please explain that to me? Your logic isn't holding.

Secondly, you may think I'm defending a Nazi. I'm not. I'm defending against calling someone a Nazi when there isn't proof of him being a Nazi. I believe he's registered as a REPUBLICAN, here BTW. LOL.

Secondly, I also think by laying the accusation of Nazism to someone like Arnold (or even the favorite comparison's of extreme left loonies like to make against Bush) only serves to diminish the evil legacy of Nazism.

Why? Because when you accuse someone of being a Nazi who is clearly NOT a Nazi, then those that might believe you might tend to think that "hey, Nazism isn't so bad if Arnold or Bush is one. Not as bad as I thought".

Then you get nutcases like the president of Iran stating that the Holocaust is a European story based on fiction, and suddenly, HEY, WHAT'S WRONG WITH NAZISM? Can't be all that bad.... they didn't actually kill 12 million people ... and hey, Arnold and Bush are pricks, but if they are Nazi's then I could probably hang in a Fascist state because the U.S.A. ain't that bad of place despite it being a psuedo fascist nation... etc.

This obviously affects the weak minded or ill educated. Don't perp falsehoods that diminish the evil of the things you accuse other of being.

You want Fascist leaders? Use Saddam as example. That's a true blue Fascist example that reps the evil of that government system and abuse of powers quite well.

I'm not stepping in on the Arnold debate on this one, but I will agree with this sentiment. There is an IMMENSE difference between nazis and modern right wing US politics.

I personally know a holocaust survivor. He was a Romanian Jew in Europe at the WRONG time in the 20th century. He can tell you what the differences are better than I could, if you want to read one of his essays, PM me. I fucking guarantee you that the Nazis did WAY worse shit on a WAY bigger scale than anything the republicans have even dreamed of.

The modern left's distaste with the right stretches too far when they call conservatives or republicans nazis... Whether the Left's complaints with the right are justified or not is not my issue here, it's just that "nazi" slips off the tongue a little too easily these days.

Kinda like the Left'scomplaint when they complain that the word "terrorist" slips off the tongue of the right a little to easily too. Hmmm, go figure.

All those left and right name calling dogmatistic extremists can go grow up. Debate issues and stop finger pointing and name calling like schoolyard children. It makes me sick. Trouble is, both sides climb on their high horses, when they're exactly the same in their ignorance of each other.

(yeah, I know about the bush family connections to Nazis before WWII. Alot of US and Brit businesses had dealings with them before the war. So did the French. And so did a lot of countries. Doesn't make any of them Nazis today.)

So maybe death by legal injection isn't the right punishment for tookie in this case as he has walked around condemning (to death!) people that he knew nothing about

I think Tookie has been incredibly fortunate and has already had his reprieve... 25+ years more of life than his murder victims. 25+ years he could be happy, suffer, dream, etc. How lucky he was to have such a chance to do something good with his life. Now he should be a man, own his punishment, and send a final lesson to the youths he would stear clear of gang life.

Nazi's were about as wrong as wrong can be. Politicians are simply greedy, and bread for their abiltiy to lie in front of others. The climate of economic deperation is never pretty.

The coldwar scared the shit out of me when I was a kid. What scares me the most is now that I have the maturity to understand what is going on more, I am more comfortable debating this than responding to it, even emotionally.

Everything is so fucked up. Even if my second processor was utilized, I still don't think I could express myself.
