Question on clip automation? testing out Live5.0.3b4

i been messing around with it here and there
and i think it is pretty good also just in time to for xmas...
however i notice when i load a clip that has
automated parameters going on in it
the automation does play but the
knobs on the corresponding device dont move.
is this intentional?


For example i loaded up a ableton clip named
braintease from the ableton clips library/ beats/ electronic
press play clip sounds off... Now because i was interested
in how the clip was made.. i thought wow? hmmmm...
i took a look visually at the devices interface to see if automation was
used to acheive the sound and i thought Huh?? imposible
but then i went to the envelopes and there it was 2
parameters of the auto filter were automated which are
frequency and lfo frequency but the controls
on the device are not playing the automation
i thought in previous releases of live
clip automation was played back visually
once it was created in the clip... is this
intentional for performance is this an
option in the preferences to turn off and on?

i will download and try the new beta as well..

i actually modified the clip.
i see how you guys did it
that is very clever.

kinda something i can explain
but users have to see for themselves
like the matrix.
