rename clip bug

Post by forge » Mon Dec 12, 2005 12:46 pm

small strange bug where if you select part of the text when trying to rename a clip, the character after your selection gets deleted too.

Eg. If you have a file called Snowwball and you wanted to delete the 2nd W, then the B would be deleted also even though you have only selected the W.

I have a feeling this may also be in 5.02 - one of those small irritating things I just live with until I get around to writing a bug report!

Ha!

And here I am at 4am, happily renaming away and suddenly start to think 'jeez, I must be getting tired, I'm seriuosly screwing up these tags...'.

BTW I'm quite happy to blame the tiredness but it's good to know that's there's a problem that I was unaware of that you were aware of so now I can be aware of the said problem and blame you when I get tired and incorrectly rename a track.

Cool, even LESS responsibilty.

Oh, it doesn't work that way?

Hi forge, hi oldbetseysatan,

this one should be fixed within the latest beta, Live 5.0.3b6:

... and blame you when I get tired and incorrectly rename a track.

oldbetseysatan, so now you have to blame anybody else... :)
