I'm starting to think that my CPU spikes, audio glitches, etc. might just be the result of a project that's too big.
I have 260+ samples and about 300 scenes, but never are more than 15 tracks playing at a time. Usually it's more like 6-8.
Is this simply too much material?
Thanks,

You might be exceeding your disk performanceDennis DeSantis wrote: I'm starting to think that my CPU spikes, audio glitches, etc. might just be the result of a project that's too big.

when you are streaming 15 stereo clips from
disk. If this is true, you should be
able to avoid by playing some or all of
your samples from ramdisk. There are
other things to do of course too, like
adjusting your audio interface latency,
et cetera.
Any samples in your set which are not playing should not have an effect.
