Abletons ask questions and RARELY give any answers

Post by Guest » Fri Aug 22, 2003 2:12 am

I too have had my share of technical problems with Live (all current versions). I often come onto this board to find some answers and give feedback whenever I can. After reading a few hundred posts I've become aware of how LITTLE the Abletons do to help us HERE on this forum.

If you search around you may notice that 85% of the time they reply to a particular problem with a flurry of questions that dodges the original one.

ABLETONS: Cant you set up a tech/help page that can really INFORM us as to specific, recurring problems? The FAQ page is SERIOUSLY out of date and a joke.

Even if you just cut and pasted some of your more intelligent answers you give in private Emails would be a help. It seems many of us suffer from the same types of problems....WE KNOW YOU HAVE ANSWERS...WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT TO GET THEM?

do U think U the only one to have buGs using Live :?:
i'm using iT since vers 1.51 and i saw the improvement of that soft.
they've alway answered me quickly and directly , from aday to a week , and we alwayd found a solution.
be patient and try to solve your bugg alone as U can , as I diD.
they may have a lot of answers to give ,
think about the multitude of diffrents configurations that uSeS Live.
ok , i hope you'll find a way to solve your problem

Also, register (pay for) your software and get a username on these forums. If you have an issue, ask it rather than complain - you'll find a LOT of help in the community before Ableton even has to get involved. I personally would rather answer your question myself and have Ableton spend their resources making v3 great.
