Sound drops out ocassionally (and unexpectedly) with b7

This is a fairly new bug to me, never experienced this before.
I'm on a P4 3.0 PC (XP) with 1G ram

I'm doing my radioshows every week on Live, so I didn't do anything different than usual.
Live goes completely silent for a few millisecs (sometimes way longer than that) for
have no idea what reason.
Another peculiar thing:
When I click anywhere in the scrub area to listen to a different part of a song, and sound disappears for a fraction of time (shorter than the above), but definitely there's a glitch there.

Anyone experienced this too?

When this happens is there still a signal visible in the corresponding level meters? Does it happens after a certain action?

Sometimes it needs no action to do so. I have no reference points on this I'm afraid. it just 'skips'...
