Recording Without Warp

Post by igy007 » Thu Dec 22, 2005 3:58 pm

hello
is there a way to record without the automatic warping
since i notice that leaving all these warp clips in my timeline makes it difficult for live to play the clips without delay ?

thanks a lot
any suggestions

you don't record warped (obviously), it just plays back warped.

if the setting for playing back short clips un-warped didn't work, try the button marked 'autowarp long samples'

It doesn't "record warped", because how exactly would that happen, encode a timestretch engine in the wave? warping is a playback technology.

sorry what i meant is an option that once the clip is recorded , it doesn't warp it automatically for the playback , it just leave like this
