MIDI -> Keystroke Converter For PC?

Hey there - what are you folks using to convert MIDI messages -> keystrokes for things like deleting clips on the fly? Are these programs difficult to configure? Thanks much for the help!

I don't use external software at all for this - I do it via mackie control emulation. I feel that it is a more elegant solution. There are quite a few neat tricks to be uncovered using that approach:

Bome's Midi Translator is extremely easy to use.

That in conjunction with Autohotkey (www.autohotkey.com) is a powerful combo.
