i need jazz drums midi files

Post by lightshy » Fri Dec 23, 2005 12:11 pm

to see how and where each hit is placed. having no knolwdge of jazz theory it's pretty hard and frustrating and eventually boring to try guessing. someone mentioned groovemonkey but it seems the site is in maintenance and i can't see any midi files for download. i've tried googling but it didn't turn out qany relevant results.

thx

Why not read up and listen to good jazz instead? Why do you want to create jazz-influenced music without knowing the first thing about it?

Sorry if I came off harsh there. Found this page http://www.petethomas.co.uk/jazz-drum-parts.html. Although not midi-related, it might be useful.
