My Serial number has too many numbers for an online upgrade

I went online for an upgrade from 2 and they wanted a serial number of four sets of four numbers and my serial number is six sets of four....what's up?

To what version do you want to upgrade?

If it is 3.0: Well, sorry to say, but it isn't release yet. On saturday starts the public beta and you are very welcome to join it.

If it is 2.1: It is free, just go to the download page and download it.
