If"more to follow very soon" was added on there, does that mean its a novation thing, or is this a live compatibility issue?
I guess it means that more hosts will be supported soon - and that others, such as Live, do not work at the moment. Lets hope it's soon, we need a real alternative to mackie control

Funny, yesterday I'd never heard of this thing, and today I've already had 2 people looking for it.

I was going to buy a EMU Xboard until i heard about this thing. I know the price is going to be outragous for a 37 Key. They are not planning to release a 49 key according to the news section on the site that is selling them right now. Automap is really awesome ,but the greatest feature by far is having led labels for your controllers. Is it really worth that price though. I wonder.

I think i will buy one even though i know i probably should've waited until some other companies jump on the bandwagon and make the same thing cheaper.

MAYBE NOT!!
"And now the SL revolution continues with the announcement of two new, larger SL keyboards that bring all of that functionality to the pro playing market. The new models – a 3-octave (37-key) and 5-octave (61-key) version – retain all of the features, ease of use and logical layout of the original and bring its futuristic design to keyboard players the world over."

CALLED SWEETWATER

Post by glu » Thu Dec 29, 2005 5:47 pm

expected arrival: later Jan, early Feb, although that is of course just an estimate, as new products can come in earlier, or more likely, later. I just love the fact that is has so many buttons and those pads, these controllers pack a variety of controls. I am in the market for something with keys too, so this compact (and sleek) controller looks like it will fit the bill, I just don't want to wait so long. Abletonions seem to appreciate the Remote line, so I am kinda struggling to figure out what to do. Just want some keys and switches, ya know!?

Sweetwater will be selling them for $400 by the way.
