a. Are you hooked up with the usb audio/soundcard/asio drivers?

If so, see b. If not......that is probably your problem........also explain how system is hooked up.

b. You must be routing the output (headphones/monitors/etc) from the toneport, or route that to a mixer and use those outputs.

c. If you have done those, make sure that record is enabled, or it's no-go.

If you've done all these, then repost what you have tried and someone will be able to help.

I pluged my mic into the ux2 and the headphones,Installed live 4.1.5/gearbox,And i cant seem to know where to record.

I hear myself in the headphones on Gearbox,But not on live 4.1.5

And on live 4.1.5 i hear the instrumental playin on the computer not my headphones

I'm so confused,I used to have cool edit pro,So this is a big jump, lol

Hi ILLogicalScripts,

I would recommend you take a look at the Lessons tutorials, available from the help menu within Live 4.

regards,
/Alex

Hi ILLogicalScripts,

I think Alex, by advicing the lesson tutorials, was speaking of the lessons in Live. You can access them in Live either by the help menu, and select a lesson, or go to the view menu, and clic "lessons", a pane will open on the right hand side of Live and you'll find lots of helpfull stuff !

Best,
