I'm not sure if I should put this post in this forum, a Sonar forum, or an EMU forum, so I figure I may as well do all of them...
If it helps, I'm using the Live Lite v.4 of Live that came with my EMU 1616.... Basically, I'm having a problem with using SonarLE and Ableton Live together. My problem comes after programming drum samples in Ableton, recording it, and then bouncing it to an audio track in Sonar. Bascially, it works fine except for when whatever I recorded in Ableton Live and bounced onto an audio track cuts out every so often.... For example, in the chorus of a song, the drum beat will be going along fine, and then it will randomly cut out for maybe 4 or 5 measures, then pick back up for half a measure, then cut out again, etc.... it seems to do it at random and with no discernable pattern. Is that one of the limiting features of this EMU edition of Ableton Live Lite? I certainly hope not.
Any ideas about what is going on or how to fix it/stop it from happening again? I'm getting a bit tired of having to reprogram drum loops and recorded them multiple times....
