i like this one.
edit: too bad, the link's dead

for the rest saturator and live cut. somehow i seem to use less and less plugs. abletons envelopes can do so much...

EnergyXT (39$)
Reaktor 5 (399€)
MDA TALKBOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - FREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

I couldn't be happier about my rig right now! Took me 5 minutes to make the MDA talkbox stereo and respond to synth input from reaktor; save as preset, move on - Brilliant!
:D

Seriously, anyone who wants to spice up their sound should go with some basic vocoding.

effects: i must say i nearly use only ableton fx, because they sound very very good. the only thing that comes to my mind at the moment is ohmboyz delay.

instruments: i tweak everything (bass, chords, pads) with linplug albino at the moment. it's such a great synth, very easy to control and very powerful plus really good filters. second is lounge lizard for keys and chords.

i really like plugins that are very simple to use and with which you can get quick results.

My absolute favorite plug-in of all time: Clone Ensemble (www.cloneensemble.com).

Cheap, and worth every penny / shilling.

Live's native plugs kick ass!!! I especially love the filter and the delay is nice and clear sounding....Oh and lets not forget the bit-reduction!!! Where would electronic music be the past couple years without Ableton's REDUX????
