I used soundflower for a bit, and it had a nasty habit of slowly feedbacking on me all the time. fucked me up real good one time doing a class presentation while using it.computo wrote:I guarantee that soundflower wasnt the cause of your problems.
Ive NEVER had an issue with it. Perhaps it exposed other flaws in your system, but soundflower is completely solid.

As far as programs go, I've been pleased with puredata, and haven't had a hard time navigating it. I did go thru the tutorial for max whiile I had the demo, and it helped a ton. It seems SO simiilar, even a lot of the commands are the same.

We have had some bidule posts here. One MAX thing I think. Reaktor things? Pluggo things?
Does this reflect something (apart from me being a Bidule nerd.)
Perhaps we should set up a chart with features, cost etc for the alternatives, to get a clear view.
