And I guess you just don't want to route it through sends and add (other) effects there?

How to copy tracks

Post by Inductive » Sun Jan 08, 2006 2:32 am

Its a few steps but it only takes a few seconds. Say its a midi track with like 6 effects. Make a new empty midi track, copy all the clips into the new track (controll click, then drag, release controll/mouse). Then in the original track select all the machines, controll drag them into the new track. Now it has all the clips (or copy the track contents in arrangement view if you are there) and all the effects with the same parameters. Same is true for audio tracks.

Create a new track. Copy clip to new track. Combine effects as saved preset. Load to new track. Voila! You can also render the track, or resample it, and add to it.
