I've got this MIDI track ReWired to Reason. Since sending and receiving doesn't really work well with MIDI tracks I just figured I'd grab the audio from Reason so I would be able to do things more freely. The problem is that I can't get a clean stop of the recording. Since I'm not exactly good at stopping right after four measures, I always have a tiny skip that's *very* noticable. Is there some way for me to set a specific number of measures that the Audio track will record (the MIDI track) for?
Thanks very much for any help.
ps: Live is the sh*t, by the way.

Found out what I had to do. Not exactly what I wanted but it works. Setting the sample end to the number of measures creates a perfect loop to work with.

That would work. You can also set global quantization to anything other than none. I'll frequently set it for whatever beat measure interval that I would want the clip to be. With Reason and Live synchronized, you should have a clip that is perfectly cut.
You should see a global quantization setting in the preferences menu or at the top of Live 5 right next to the arrangement recording area.
