Looking for a simple USB Audio card which gives me two outputs. One Stereo-output to the amplifier and one to the headphones to pre-listen to the sounds.
Have anyone experience with the UASC-1 Box from Waveidea (waveidea.com)? Seems to be exactely the right thing, but is not very known.
Please, tell me more.

This probably won't do it (the UASC-1) as it only has one analog output and then the headphone output which, like most usb audio devices, mimics whatever is going out of the main anolog output. In other words, you would not be able to seperately pre-listen on the headphone outs because you will also hear the main outs. So effectivly, it is only one pair of outputs duplicated twice.
If you are on a desktop, what you will need is something like the M-Audio Quattro which has 4 outputs (1 and 2 would be you mains, then 3 would be for your pre-listen and 4 to whatever else you want.)
If you're on a laptop then the upcoming Echo indigo DJ would be ideal because it has one stereo out for the mains and one headphone out which IS actually assignable as a seperate out (which seems to be very rare!)
