A guy doing some Drum'n Bass with Reaktor. He does it live and it sounds cool.

How would you do this with Ableton Live?

I saw another video clip of a live performance with him once (can't remember the link though) and I hate to say it, but it didn't rock as much.

Wanna sound like tim Exile?
Load this one up in Reaktor:

Is this available as a Reaktor 4 ensemble?

Nope. Sorry.

And you could probably do most of this stuff in Live, but there isn't really that much of a live glitch potential in Live yet. I get similar sounds by running reaktor effects inside Live though.

Machinate, could you briefly explain how the damn ensemble works? I had no problems getting it to play loops and crossfade between them, but I didn't manage to trigger any glitchy effects. Should they be midi assigned or something?

Didn't manage to bring in the reverb or delay either, but I didn't try too hard.

Exile rocks!!!

get his album on planet mu, it's INSANE!! and, btw, I stopped liking D'n B in 2000. Exile just tricked me into buying his cd by doing one of the best live shows I've seen in 2005.
(the very best was kraftwerk, two times, yeah who can beat them ...)

Haven't found any interesting effects either in Machinate's ensemble. To use the reverb and delay just turn the sends button under your sample...

There are lot of controls labeled Glitch, Reverse, Scratch etc etc in the top part. There is also a small step sequencer thingy there. They are not triggered by the mouse though.

so, does anyone know where the hell i can get this video and actually keep it? lol. i like saving these kinds of things, but the site is flash, so (correct me if im wrong) i cant right click and save the video to my computer.

Anyone have another link or a way to copy with flash. if you could tell me that, it would be the highlight of my year.
