richie hawtin uses a way to speed up/down the music he plays, is there a plugin to do that?
eg: playing a song and another sample and then speeding down the sample as much as you want, then speeding it up again till it goes really fast, without messing warp markers/tempo

Sounds like he may be playing with the transpose setting of the clip based on what you're describing.

he doesnt change the tempo of the scene. only one song speeds up and the other stays at normal speed.
and its not the song, he does it whenever he wants.

Hi,
With a sample warped in any mode but repitch, if you play with the original speed of the track (BPM count in clip area), that should do....
yeah ?

Is this the effect where he varies the delay time (in milliseconds) of a delay plugin? As the delay gets shorter the speed will appear to increase

he's probably done that effect before hand and printed it out to a new wave file. then it only LOOKS like he's being amazing, when really it's probably a oneshot.
