Whenever I render a wav file from Ableton, it pops and cracks when I play it back in WinAmp. Has anyone had this problem?? It's driving me crazy. Do you have to render at a certain sample/bit rate to prevent this? Thanks...

does it pop/crackle when u play it in another app (audio editor)?
wot sample rate + bit rate ru rendering at?
u need to find out if the unwanted artifacts are actually in the audio file or caused by Winamp... if that makes any sense!

48000 + 32. maybe bring the 32 down to 24? i think the artifacts are coming from ableton - other wav files work fine in winamp. thanks for the replyl.

make sure Live is closed before you use winamp or it will crackle. I get the same issue. Once I close Live, no crackles.
Unless the crackles are actually 'in' the audio, and then your pooched.
