I got up to speed last night with 5.0.3 and immediately went back to work.
It wasn't long before I stumbled on a little problem. I tried to assign some keys from the keyboard of the computer to turn on and off the frequencies of EQ3 (the kill switches) and I found a few glitches.
First I tried to assign A S and D to the Low Mid and High and it wasn't working. The A would trigger the Low kill, but the S and D didn't work. When pressed the midi + key boxes in the upper right portion of the screen would flash on and off.
Then I tried to assign the same function to Q W and E. Same result. Q would kill the Low, but the other two had the same problem.
Then I tried it with 1 2 and 3, and it worked porperly.
Not a huge problem, but a bit buggy none the less.
Live 5.0.3 with OSX 10.3.9 (a wee bit of weirdness)

Think amo is right McBoob, I had the same problem myself. Only some of the keys wouldn't map to clip slots. Turned out to be the midi keyboard input.amo wrote:You did unclick the "MIDI computer keybord" icon right ???
Biggest bug I have at the moment is not having any time to do any Live stuff... bah.

Bingo
Yup, that's it. Keys button. That's the sort of little flub that you'd almost expect a dialog box to pop up explain the situation.
I hear ya Tele. The time I get to work on my stuff is few and far between. Wednesday night is my lock-out night at our studio. It's my mid-week bump o' happiness.
Thanks guys! Back to the fun...
