More Crackling Questions...

Okay... so I'm using Live on a brand new eMachines (amd athlon 2400+/1.8Ghz/512k/40gig) and I have video acceleration turned all the way off... Live seems to be working fine, but every once in a while I'll hit a point where it starts to crackle, and it won't stop. If I restart the computer it works fine...

I perform out 'LIVE' alot and am planning to use this out for the first time next weekend... I'd like to figure it out if possible before then... just in case.

Not a Windows expert, but some crackling may be related to buffer size.

Check your Live audio preferences and tune up the buffer size.

This will increase latency but reduce CPU usage and might help with crackling.
