Hi there, this is my first post to the ableton board. I used to be on Cubase.net quite a bit but have been able to solve most of my problems for that one.
Impulse: when triggering notes, it is the release of a note (or key) that plays the sound, not the initial velocity, as is the usual case.
I am using: motu 828 mk11 and audio plays fine.
Is it me? Is there a switch to change this behavior?

If anyone knows something about the Computer Midi Keyboard function, that would be a help.
I have this installed at work, but they are not going to go for me bringing in a little midi keyboard, so punching in beats with my computer keyboard sounds great--but it doesn't seem to work.
Ableton is getting midi, however, the Impulse is not. I have tried all the key octaves and still nothing.
