Live 5 finding all of my VSTs EXCEPT...
Battery 2. I go to the directory where it is located and it doesn't even list. What could I be doing wrong, any ideas?

i'm having the same problem with Eastwest RA. dll file is in my Steinberg/VST folder along with all my other plugins, which all show up....except RA.
FYI all my NI plugins show up, including Battery2, Guitar Rig, and Electronic Instruments XT.

I had exactly the same prob, and it happened after installing a new VSTi.Spikee wrote:Battery 2. I go to the directory where it is located and it doesn't even list. What could I be doing wrong, any ideas?
I use a custom VST directory in Program files (dont know why i didnt just use the default Steinberg vst folder, but i didnt!)
Anyway, i just uninstalled and reinstalled Battery2 and every thing just went fine.
I see it and use it in live from the browser all the time now.
Also once i unistall something ill use 'registry mechanic' to clean out any leftover reg settings.
That seems to work fine for me.
Good luck

I had the same problem with a couple of cheap plugs like quadrasid (free one) and a couple others. I just took them out of the directory, did a rescan of the directory in prefences, and then put them back in the directory and scanned again. they all showed up then.
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.
