My Default Clip Color Won't Work!

Since I started using Live 5, my Default Clip Color setting has no effect on new clips- they're always brown (my least favorite color).

Any suggestions?

Hi gfea,

so in the 'Defaults' section of Live's preferences you have switch off "Auto-Assign Colors" and as "Clip Color" is another color as brown, but all clips dragged in are brown?

You got it. If I set the default color as blue, it still gives me brown everytime a new clip is created. I've tried it with the "auto clip color" option on and off. with the same result. I HATE brown!

Hi gfea,

does it also happen when you drag-in audio sample not yet having an .asd file?

could you send me your preferences file?
