so when i open live it asks for the disk(that i dont have) after i put in the serial # how can i bypass this?

Assuming you mean Battery 1 (the one without NI´s online registration), the app. will ask you for the CD once in a while.
As a legitimate user you should have it.
Otherwise, well, tststs...
