CAN SOME ONE HELP ME, RECORDING INPUT PROBLEM

I AM RECORDING ON A MAC G4 AND I HAVE A M-AUDIO LARGE CAPSULE MIC, ALSO I AM USING A USB MOBILE PRE USB, WHEN I RECORD VOCALS WITH THE MIC IT IS ONLY COMING IN MONO AND NOT STEREO WITH LIVE 5. I HAVE TRYED A FEW THINGS CAN YOU LIST SOME STUFF TO TRY?

if you are only recording with one mic ,it will obviously record a mono signal .

anyway , check your input settings .

where do you mix it down so you have stereo vocals, you dont put out a track with a mono voice on it. ANy further help would be great

When you say "mono" do you then mean "stereo, but only sound in the left channel"? Because if that's it then you need to switch the track to only "input 1" in the input/output section, which you can activate with the buttons to the right of the master fader.
mbp 2.66, osx 10.6.8, 8GB ram.
