nice for him!
but I don't think a soundtrack for the opening ceremony will get him to number one on the djmag chart...
number seven would be nice considering he mkes and releases "dark, unsetlling, repetitive" music ...

I dunno... if it were up to me, I'd definetly take scoring the Olympics over #1 in a dj magazine.

Hawtin’s Olympic debut could make the DJ a worldwide star – the year that Dutch trance DJ Tiësto played at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, he was crowned No.1 DJ in the world in DJmag’s Top 100 DJs Poll 2004.

who is this DJ Tiësto anyway? someone i'v not heard of before latley

Come to think of it, I haven't heard of 80% of the names on that list...
