Program/Bank Change not working

I had the program bank change working(was changing the program/banks on my synths) in version 4 Lite of LIVE. Now I'm working with LIVE 5 and it doesnt seem to do anything. Got the preferences set up right, and the midi is working its just the program change that does nothing despite what I set them to.

and further more, my snyths first program is actually set at 0(ZERO) but there is no option for "ZERO", the bank,sub-bank, and program only starts at 1 or none. What the hell sense does that make if most snyths recognize "0" as the first number and not "1"?

When I did have this working alll that meant was that I would set 1 in LIVE realizing that this would corespond to one number lower on the either ext hardware snyth. Not a big deal but kinda lamn they dont start at "0". RRRRRRGH!

Ok just tried something. The drums is what I've been trying. The snyth I'm trying to change the program info on through LIVE is a snyth/drum module(EMX-1) and while the drums section wasnt working, the snyth parts do work. I even tried setting the drums section on the EMX to channel 10 which is the normal channel for drums but doesnt work. However, since I will always have a loop coresponding with the drum loop its really not a problem because any of the other midi loops for the snyth parts will change to the corresponding program/bank.

Another alternative would be to record just the drum loop as an audio and run the 5 snyth parts with midi.

I just find it weird that it wont work with the drums section, is this normal for snyth modules with drum sections?
