I like seeing just one button for A/B selection. Keeps it simple. Also, sliders for fx sends are very cool - I've seen an expanded version of that on this monster controller (in progress). Looks like it has some of the ideas from the Maven going on;

Buttons are available from www.rjselectronics.com
I have a part number of RJSPB61303BL-5. This number will differ slightly depending on colour. For obvious reasons I cannot supply the CAD of the casing.

Pentium M Laptop 1.8 GHz, 1024Mb RAM, Ableton Live 5, Cubase SX, Edirol UA101 Audio Interface.
PCBs have arrived and my man is building the pcb's now as we speak. Designs are done. We are buidling a cardboard mock up to piss around with layouts and then its full production. Got a neat two-ply top panal which is black and when the laser burns/etches the top layer, it reveals white. This will be used for the text/paint equivalent so it won't scratch etc. Going slow but is happening. Also, have found some slick UV LEDs which will sit in the side and make all the white text shine up sweet. Not sure whether we are gonna use 'em yet though. But don't worry chaps and chapesses- I am still plugging!!!!!

Hmm. Well All I can say is that its almost identical to Sashas Maven but we are planning on raising the EQ/Gain section up a bit so it sits 5mm proud of mixer. This then will house the UV LEDs that will let the white text turn purple! Nice. As for pics, I will post the CAD soon as its ready for production. You welcome to pics of half built PCBs if you want

Hey just so ya know, I read an interview with AC(Sasha) recently and he said he is going to have to re design the Maven because it is not fitting his needs as he is learning Live. So..I wouldn't copy it too closely. I have taken a look at it and I don't really like it all that much aside from the groovy lights. Its not laid out all that well for Live in my opinion. Better than most controllers though and it looks well built.

where are you getting your faders from?

thanks[/b]
Not sure. My mate got them through his company. They are just ordinary 10k fader pots. Most places like CPC, Radio Spares, Maplins etc do them
