Whats the best warping mode for accapellas

Post by Sonic Supreme » Thu Feb 02, 2006 12:27 am

I have an accapella thats at 73 bpm . I want to Time-stretch it down to 63 so I can do a house mix at 126 bpm. What do you guys suggest I do with this accapella?

Ive aonly had Live since December so im still learning. Thanks anyone for this matter

I would suggest making a ghetto tech track at 146 instead :-)

The simplest way is to warp it correctly (at 73 BPM). If you lay this over a house track it will probably sound dumb. Hit the little button with 2 on it, just under the tempo of the clip, this will double the tempo of the clip (to 146), which means it plays back half as fast as before, and now sounds much better (I am guessing)

I quote often play hiphop and drum n bass together, and this little button is essential in this case
