During the twilight hours of managing accounts at DMX I really get deep into searching the internet

I found some racist white nationalist stuff on myspace and was intrigued

so I typed in White Power on google and came across this website

how the fuck do you end up like that in this day and age? I mean, before people had access to good comunication i could see it passing down from family members, but today? Wouldn't you encounter something or someone that would change your mind? totally crazy shit.

Try replacing 'white' with 'Israeli', and 'black' with 'Palestinian', and you have..... a conservative Israeli website! There really isn't much difference in their attitudes...

Not sure what to say about that one. Ummmm. I just think basicly the same thing as leisuremuffin in the how the hell do you end up like that in this day in age?

I was talking to a friend of mine (a white guy) who is a teacher in mississippi. He is one of five whites of 500+ people at the school. There is another school that is the reverse in numbers. I asked him why there was such a seperation and he explained that it was by choice. No law no rules the people keep themselves seperated. I live in one of the most muticultural cities in the world so im told and I just cant get my head around some of the things people do.

guess it is just the way it goes.

At my uni, there's a lot of Asian students in CS and Software Eng... and there's a pretty clear divide between Asian and non-Asian. In many classes there are 70-90% Asian students. They tend to do form big social groups that don't interact with non-Asian students.

I don't quite understand how people can say "I don't understand how people can be like that"... Xenophobia has been a part of humanity since the dawn of time, and the reasoning and thought processes that these people have seem pretty obvious.

there was a program on the telly the other night going into detail about the fact that there is actually genetically no such thig as race - no difference at all - maybe as much as the difference between a brown or ginger Dog that have over time become more accentuated, but in terms of species we are all scientifically the same.

When you see it like that it makes it even more ridiculous doesnt it?

It is a fact as far as I know it. There is only one race, the human race. We are all one. If you look at the bible we all came from Adam and Eve. And if you belive in evolution then we all came from one glob of gook or another. So to me no matter how you look at it we are all one "race". To be totaly honest, each time i hear people refering to visual differences between people as "races" it makes me angry.

Again this just the way I see it.

curious. A few months back somebody on the forum posted a link to an article on that site to make a point. I actually emailed the abes to object but after a nice exchange of emails agreed that the post wasn't racist itself, freedom of speech and all that.

Yep, the site is terrible but what is the point of posting it here. We're surpised that racits can organise websites and forums?
