Project Tempo Range in Ableton 5?

Is there anywhere where I can set the project tempo range in Ableton 5?

In what way? the range of the project on a fader?

Well, to sync Ableton with my turntables. I've figured out that you need to go into the Arrangement View and select Song Tempo in the Master mixer, however, I do this and set a range. I have the tempo mapped to a knob on my MIDI unit but it still uses the 60-200 range for some reason.

Press key or midi on session view and set the range at the bottom of the page-that what you want?

yeah I have everything mapped properly, it's just that when i adjust the range it doesn't change it in the upper left. It just displays the range for the Master track. Doesn't alter the range, however.

i could be wrong but it sounds like you are adjusting the range values in the master section of the arrange view. that will only define the master tempo envelope

for defining the range of tempo as controlled by an external knob, fader, etc - change the values at the bottom of the screen (in the bar which displays program info) while in midi map mode with tempo field selected.

this is what muthafunka is talking about but it's hard to describe sometimes. especially because the other setting is also close to "the bottom of the screen"
