Merci !

i have been having probelm with Lexicon Omega soundcard - the way i have to listen to tracks for cueing is that i assign tracks to 1/2 master out and then for cueing i assign to my laptops soundcard in 3/4 and plug my headphones into my laptop headphone socket and not the soundcard headphone socket
im not sure if this is what you are asking for

Yes, it's a good answer, but how to force ableton to recognize my 2 sound card, but i can select one sound card in live preference, so i can't have Channel 1/2 on 1 soundcard, and channel 3/4 on another soundcard :

live doesn't support multiple soundcards
if you want to be able to have a cue output, you need a card with multiple outputs. and as far as i know, surround cards don't really count as "multiple outputs" (i could be wrong)
so to me, your preferences page looks as it should - one pair of outs for your soundcard and that's it

it's okay, i found the solution :
http://www.usb-audio.com/ deliver an ASIO driver for mostly all USB audio card, so i could access to the ASIO mode of ableton and :
